On Sunday (April 26), Statik Selektah dropped an unreleased track by late rapper The Notorious B.I.G.

"Some new Biggie for you? (Bored on a Sunday)," the legendary producer wrote on Instagram. "Even the biggest Notorious fans prob don’t know this verse. Salute @everydayisacanvas for the reminder."

The archival collaboration titled “Bastard Child” finds Biggie rapping about going to confront someone he had a disagreement with. "Steps out the cab with a duffle bag/All the guns I had, sipping granddad, 'bout to make his momma sad," B.I.G. opens the track. "I can't stand him and I don't know him/And he don't even know I'm 'bout to blow him, bout to show 'em/What goes around comes around he should've thought about it/Now he's got to talk to God about it/ I mean it, nothin' come between us/ Four, fifth, in the dead center I got the scope with the info/ Boom, boom, coward ni**as got to meet their fate."

While the first verse features bars that fans have never heard before, the second verse is the original second verse of B.I.G.'s posthumous track "Dead Wrong," which features Eminem and was released in 1999.

Last month marked the 23rd anniversary of Biggie's tragic passing. As fans know, he was killed in a drive-by shooting during a trip to Los Angeles back in 1997.
