Earlier this month, locked-down 93-year-old Olive Veronesi went crazy viral after a photo of her asking for more beer was shared online. Coors Light came to her aid and made a huge delivery of Coors Light to Veronesi's doorstep. The story sparked joy in many of their customers. Now, Coors Light wants to keep making people's day by giving away more free beer. Here's what you need to know.

Coors Light will give away 500,000 free beers through a new initiative called America #CouldUseABeer. Getting your free Coors Light is super easy, too. All you have to do is tell Coors Light who in your life could use a cold one—it can be anybody, including yourself. Head over to Coors Light's official Twitter account and, using the prompt in the pinned tweet at the top of their profile, tell us why someone you or someone you care about could use a beer right now. Coors Light will help get them one.

Fans of Coors Light are already sending in their entries via the replies on Coors Light's pinned tweet. The reasons for wanting to acquire a free beer for themselves or their loved ones range from the serious to the hilarious. One person said that her "husband for putting up with me drinking all the Coors Light during the quarantine," while another asked for an ice cold Coors Light as a reward for their hard work during the crisis "as I have been a essential worker this entire pandemic."

Will you be making your pitch for free Coors Light?
