Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Luke Combs and his fiancee, Nicole Hocking, are still preparing for their upcoming wedding.
In a recent interview, when asked about the big day, Combs said "things are still on track as of right now."
He added, "That's all I know as far as that stuff goes, we're still planning on doing it, we're still picking out napkins and stuff like that, so that stuff is all systems go as of right now."
The country star went on to reveal how he's been helping out when it comes to wedding planning. "I'm like the booze guy for sure," he said with a laugh. "Probably gonna dabble in some playlists, I am sure that will probably happen. I'm just the good time engineer on this thing. That's the official title I would give myself."
Combs proposed to Hocking in November of 2018 in the kitchen of their Nashville home. They waited a few weeks and then announced the news while on vacation in Hawaii.
"You're stuck with me forever!! I love you so sooo much babe," Hocking captioned an Instagram post at the time.
Luke shared the same photo writing, "She said yes a while ago but this is a way better place to take pictures than the kitchen. Can’t wait to spend forever with you @nicohocking I Love You! #Mahalo"
The couple has been fairly private about their wedding plans. Combs was even reluctant to share details regarding the seating arrangement for the wedding.
"Maybe there is, maybe there isn’t formal seating, who knows," he said. "There’s no way to know. Maybe it’s a come as you are kind of thing."
