On Thursday (April 30), the cast of Parks and Recreation reunited for one very special scripted episode in an effort to raise money for Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund. The reunion special saw Leslie Knope, Ron Swanson and the rest of the Pawnee cree doing what the rest of us are doing as we self isolate—catching up over video chat.

The episode takes place over a series of Gryzzl calls—Pawnee's version of Zoom or Skype—with the characters checking in on each other while they're separated. While each call between the characters is as sweet and hilarious as Parks and Recreation's original run, the final call with the entire cast was truly something special. Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman) takes the reigns from Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) to make sure she's being taken care of, too, and it's not always her checking in on them. As a surprise, he gets everybody to sing Andy Dwyer's (Chris Pratt) fan-favorite L'il Sebastian tribute song '5,000 Candles in the Wind.'

It wasn't long before the musical moment had fans in tears—happy tears, of course. Many viewers took to Twitter to share their joy at the emotional moment.

In addition to the original cast returning, the Parks and Recreation special also saw a number of beloved guests stars return, as well, including Paul Rudd, Ben Schwarz, Jason Mantzoukas and Jon Glaser. Even though they didn't get to chime in on the rousing rendition of '5,000 Candles in the Wind,' fans were still happy to see them again after all this time.
