Cady Groves passed away on Saturday (May 2) in Nashville at the age of 30.

Groves' brother, Cody, took to Twitter to share the unfortunate news with a photo of the pair. In his tweet, the sibling revealed that the singer, who was most known for her hits, "This Little Girl" and "Oil and Water," passed away from natural causes. He also made mention of their two brothers, Casey and Kelly, who died in 2007 and 2014. "@cadygroves has left this world. Details are limited right now but family is trying to get them and will keep people updated. Rest In Peace little sis. Hope you’re reunited with @kellydgroves and Casey," he wrote in a message.

Meanwhile, PR firm Big Hassle Media released a statement on the death via Variety, saying, "Her death appears to be from natural causes, pending a final coroner's report. Foul play and self-harm have both been ruled out by the coroner."

Back in 2015, Cady revealed in an interview with Arena that Casey was believed to be murdered. Cody was quick to dismiss the singer's death as a hoax and said that her passing had nothing to do with the COVID-19 pandemic. Groves' family is requesting that donations be made in her name to the Music Health Alliance or MusiCares organizations in lieu of flowers.
