In honor of Cinco de Mayo, Taco Bell launched an exciting new promotion that lets you make your own tacos at home. The At Home Taco Bar serves Taco Bell customers all their favorite ingredients, including crunchy taco shells, nacho chips, seasoned beef and nacho cheese sauce, deconstructed into individual packaging so they can have a taco making party. The At Home Taco Bar kits can feed up to 6 people for just $25.
“Our food has always been a catalyst of bringing people together, and we’re finding new ways to do this from a safe distance until we can all be together again,” Melissa Friebe, Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing and Consumer Insights at Taco Bell said in a press released. “No matter the meal they create, we’re excited to give fans a new at home Taco Bell experience.”
While you can get as creative as you want with all the ingredients, Taco Bell will also help their customers recreate menu staples with a series of recipe cards from the Taco Bell Test Kitchen. The cards provide step-by-step instructions on how to use the ingredients to whip up current Taco Bell favorites and even beloved favorites from the past, like the Double-Decker Taco. There will be recipes fans have yet to see, as well. The recipe cards can be found on Taco Bell’s Blog.
Here's exactly what you'll find if you decided to order the At Home Taco Bar: 8 flour tortillas, 12 Crunchy Taco shells, 6 oz. of nacho chips, seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, refried beans, nacho cheese sauce, cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, reduced-fat sour cream, Hot Sauce packets and napkins.
Customers can order ahead on the Taco Bell app and pick up their order via contactless drive thru or place an order via Grubhub for free delivery from participating locations. The At Home Taco Bar will be available for a limited-time only at participating restaurants nationwide.
