Arizona Mills & Phoenix Premium Outlets set to reopen in two weeks

In person shopping may be come a thing sooner than you think.

According to a recent announcement... Arizona Mills, Phoenix Premium Outlets, and Tucson Premium Outlets are all expected to open within the next two weeks.

• Phoenix Premium Outlets in Chandler and Tucson Premium Outlets in Tucson will both reopen on Friday, May 8th
• Arizona Mills in Tempe is scheduled to reopen on Saturday, May 16.

Hours will be Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.

We are excited to report we have reopened 59 properties and are planning to reopen another 18 properties within the next week with many more to follow. Please note that our plans are based on state and/or local stay-at-home or closure orders that are currently in effect, which are subject to change.

Shopper response to our reopenings has been very positive. Initial traffic has been better than expected, and at times we have had to limit access to our properties to ensure enthusiastic shoppers adhere to the social distancing standards outlined in our COVID-19 safety protocols (See video:https://youtu.be/NKS8c_hEwco)

Moreover, to our surprise, many of our tenants experienced much stronger than expected sales over the weekend.

Overwhelmingly, consumers have relayed to us how excited they are to be out shopping again. With more and more stores opening every day, we expect our retailers will be able to take advantage of significant pent-up consumer demand.

Lastly, in order to provide you with as much advance notice as possible, below is our full schedule of property reopenings, based on current plans. Please note that any future changes to our reopening schedule, if needed, will be posted here. We encourage you to visit this site regularly for updates.

Gov. Ducey recently announced that retail stores could voluntarily reopen for carry-out, curbside pickup, and appointments on Monday, May 4.

Beginning on May 8, retail stores can fully reopen as long as they follow CDC-recommended guidelines to prevent COVID-19. Restaurants can reopen their dining rooms on Monday, May 11th.

The state's stay-at-home order does remain in effect through May 15.
