In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Wizarding World Digital and J.K. Rowling's agency the Blair Partnership teamed up to create the Harry Potter at Home initiative. This initiative aims to help parents and educators keep kids engaged and occupied through the magical world of Harry Potter while they're doing school work from home. The hub has "nifty magical craft videos, fun articles, quizzes, puzzles and more" in the hopes to "cast a banishing charm on boredom."

Harry Potter at Home's latest project is super exciting—they've enlisted a bunch of celebrities to help narrate Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. In a surprise announcement on Twitter, the Wizarding World revealed the Boy Who Lived himself (aka Daniel Radcliffe) would be kicking things off and reading the first chapter.

"Surprise! We've got a treat for you," Wizarding World's announcement reads. "From today, amazing friends of the Wizarding World are going to take turns reading Harry Potter book one. And to start us off with Chapter 1, we think you’ll agree we have the perfect narrator..."

A new video will premiere weekly on HarryPotterAtHome.com—Radcliffe's inaugural reading is live right now. According to Wizarding World, major celebrities such as Eddie Redmayne, Noma Dumezweni, David Beckham, Stephen Fry, Dakota Fanning, and Claudia Kim will each be reading one of the seventeen chapters of the book. The trailer for the reading series also hinted at some other special guests popping in to read throughout. Fingers crossed Emma Watson and Rupert Grint make an appearance!
