We've missed you. We can't wait to welcome you back on June 15! We will be managing capacity each day at the Zoo to allow for recommended social distancing. Given our large footprint, and a 5-hour timespan, we have established an initial attendance cap of 2,500 guests each day. Due to overwhelming requests by our members and the community, we have also added summer dates for Cruise the Zoo! We have enjoyed this experience as much as our guests – and due to popular demand, we have now scheduled Cruise the Zoo for the first Thursday – Monday of June, July and August. Hours will be limited to 7 a.m. – noon, with all cars needing to be in line by 11 a.m. We will be accommodating up to 450 vehicles per day. Learn More: (link in bio) 📷: David Wagner

The zoo has announced it would reopen to members on Saturday and Sunday, June 13-14, and to everyone else on Monday, June 15th. The Phoenix Zoo has also extended its drive-thru "Cruise The Experience" into the summer.

The zoo has added three weekend in June, July, and August:

  • Thursday - Monday, June 4-8

  • Thursday - Monday, Aug. 6-10

Tickets for those dates will go on sale on June 1. The cost is $50 for zoo members and $65 for non-members and tickets have to be purchased in advance via the zoo's website.

We will be managing capacity each day at the Zoo to allow for recommended social distancing. Given our large footprint, and a 5-hour timespan, we have established an initial attendance cap of 2,500 guests each day.
Tickets MUST be purchased in advance for a specific day. This can be done online at phoenixzoo.org beginning on June 1.
Members also must reserve a specific day in advance to visit. This can be done online at phoenixzoo.org beginning June 1. Have your membership card ready when reserving your visit online as you will need to enter your “Visual ID” to reserve your member tickets.
Zoo members will still need to present their membership card and ID along with their member tickets upon entry at turnstile.
If you have a pre-purchased or complimentary ticket, you MUST contact Guest Services in advance by calling 602.286.3800 to exchange your ticket and reserve a specific day to visit.
Failure to pre-arrange reservations whether non-member, member or advanced ticket holder may result in your inability to enter the Zoo if our attendance cap has been met.
We will not accept cash payments for any transactions. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards as well as Google and Apple Pay.
Coupons will not be accepted at this time.
All Zoo Corporate Members as well as Employee Network, D-backs Kids Club and Pogo Pass members will receive communication on how you will continue to receive your Zoo admission and/or member discount.
To promote a healthy environment for our guests and staff, acrylic guards have been installed at various locations around Zoo grounds. In areas where acrylic guards are not feasible, staff will be wearing a protective face shield.
All Zoo staff will be wearing masks.
Strollers, wheelchairs and electric convenience vehicle rentals will be sanitized before and after each use.
We have implemented an enhanced protocol of cleaning and sanitizing high contact touch points as well as other various areas throughout the park.
You will find more than 50 hand sanitizing stations conveniently located throughout the park for your use.
Restrooms will be available throughout Zoo grounds. We encourage guests to maintain social distancing while accessing them. All restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized on a rigorous schedule.
Guests will not be allowed to reenter the park after exiting.
Jungle Java, Safari Snacks and Crossroads Café (formerly known as Cavern Café) will be open for food service. For now, there is no indoor concession seating available.

The following experiences will open at a LATER date:
