La Mesa Police Incident: Videos

The La Mesa Police Department released body cam footage this week of a controversial arrest last month of a black man at the Grossmont trolley station.
A viral video circulated earlier showing the interaction and eventual arrest of 23-year-old Amaurie Johnson. The officer in the video has been placed on administrative leave while an investigation is conducted.
