Amanda Kloots won’t give up hope on her husband, Nick Cordero, amid his ongoing COVID-19 battle and she offered up some positivity for on his situation in another Instagram update.

On Sunday (June 7), the fitness instructor, 38, took to Instagram Stories to share a brief update on Cordero, 41. "Just a quick Nick update, so I think this weekend was a good weekend. It was uneventful, which uneventful in the ICU is a good weekend," Kloots explained to followers. "I think he had a weekend of rest, a weekend of growing strength in his body and recovering a little bit, and I think those are all really great signs."

Kloots went on to reveal that Cordero's white blood count is "way down" from previous updates. "It has been as high as 65,000. We are now at 30,000, a frame of reference, a normal healthy person is around 15,000 to 20,000, even lower sometimes," she continued. "So 30,000 is a great sign that things are moving in the right direction."

Without any particular reasoning, Kloots admitted that she was feeling hopeful for what's to come this week. "I don't know why, I just have a really good feeling about this week. I'm just going to keep praying for our miracles and keep praying for that healing," she said. "God is with us. Love you!"

In late May, Cordero faced a setback with his health, but Kloots admitted that despite the new lung infection, he was slowly recovering. The star has been hospitalized since March and had his leg amputated due to complications from the respiratory virus. He was placed in a medically-induced coma after surgery and woke up just a couple of weeks ago. Last week, it was revealed that Cordero was starting stem cell treatment to help his recovery. Doctors also suggested that Kloots bid farewell to him.
