Katy Perry Told Harry Styles She Was Pregnant Before The Rest Of The World

Back in March, Katy Perry announced she was expecting her first child with fiance Orlando Bloom. In an interview on Tuesday (June 9), Perry revealed there was actually one unexpected person she spilled the beans to before filling in the the rest of the world. As Perry tells it, she ran into Harry Styles on a flight earlier this year and, after the pair got to talking, she told him about her pregnancy.

“It was so funny. I actually saw him on a plane before I announced that I was pregnant,” Perry recalled. “We were having a conversation and I was like, ‘Yeah, and I’m pregnant,’ just like off the cuff, because I was like, what else do you say?” Styles, of course, was "so happy" for Perry and Bloom.

“He was so sweet,” Perry added. “I was, like, crouching down by his seat on the plane and once I had told him that, he got up out of his seat and he was like, ‘Here, sit in my seat.’ And I was like, ‘No! I’ll just go and sit in my own seat, which is right across the way,’ but he’s, like, a complete gentleman.”

Though Perry hasn't shared exactly when she's due, she's spoke about expecting her baby sometime this summer. With her album set to be released in mid-August, fans have begun speculating Perry and Bloom will welcome their little girl before then. If anybody knows, though, it's probably Styles.
