UPDATE 6/12: The sister of the person killed Tuesday in Liberty Twp says her sister was a trans woman named Riah Milton.
Our original reporting and information provided by the Butler County Sheriff's office described the victim as a man who was fatally shot as part of a robbery along Spruce Creek Drive in Liberty Twp.
So my birth sister, Riah, was tragically murdered yesterday. Like me, she’s also trans. The news has been misgendering her as well as other people and I want to make sure that she’s remembered in death like she was in life.#SayHerName #BlackTransLivesMatter#BlackLivesMatter pic.twitter.com/CW3erSSTYb
