Give the fandoms what they want! Fans of Niall Horan and Selena Gomez have been craving a collaboration from the two artists/pals, and it looks like Niall is ready for it to happen!
A fan had asked Niall about linking up with the singer/actress on some new music, writing on Twitter while also sharing a photo of the pair out and about pre-quarantine, "niall, what do you think about with a collab with selena gomez? you both will smash it," to which Horan replied, "Ready when Sel is."
Sounds like an open invitation for some musical collaboration ... your move, Selena!

When fans caught wind of Niall's answer, they encouraged him to send Selena a text to get the ball rolling and to help manifest a collab into existence.

And some went even as far as to involve one of Selena's frequent collaborators and good friend Julia Michaels to further help make this dream a reality.

Both Niall and Selena have been busy on the music front lately as they each released new albums this year. Horan shared his second solo album Heartbreak Weather back in March and was set to head out on tour, however, the trek was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. No new dates have been announce yet, but he does plan to tour in 2021.
Meanwhile, Gomez released her latest LP, Rare, at the beginning of the year. The album, a collection of deeply personal songs, included tracks like "Lose You To Love Me," "Look at Her Now," and "Boyfriend," which was released on the deluxe version of Rare.
