'30 Rock' Cast Set To Reprise Their Roles For Special One-Night Event

Well, this news is sure to brighten your day—30 Rock will be returning to your screens with a brand new episode. The show originally went off the air back in 2013, but Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan and the rest of the original cast will be reprising their roles for a special one-night event. Here's everything you need to know.

On Thursday (July 18), fans of 30 Rock will be able to catch a brand new episode of the beloved sitcom. The episode will air as part of a special NBC Upfront event, which will highlight the "stories and talent featured in NBCUniversal's 2020-21 TV season," according to People. While Fey, Baldwin and Morgan will appear as their 30 Rock characters, the special Upfront will feature a variety of guest appearances from actors from other NBC programs in order to highlight their new and returning shows.

“We’re all happy to have this excuse to (remotely) work together again for NBC,"30 Rock Executive Producers Fey and Robert Carlock said in a statement. "To quote Kenneth the Page, there are only two things we love in this world, television and everyone."

Linda Yaccarino, Chairman, Advertising & Partnerships, NBCUniversal, chimed in with a statement, as well, writing that NBCUniversal is "excited to produce an Upfront that reflects a new reality and celebrates our relationship with viewers and advertisers alike. Historically, this event is about the future of programming; this year, it’s about the future of our industry — a future where we can meet audiences wherever they are, with the stories that move them. As the old saying goes ... when life hands you Lemon, have her host the Upfront!"

30 Rock fans can check out the Upfront Special on NBC on Thursday, July 18 at 8 p.m., however, the special will also be rebroadcast across USA Network, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SYFY and CNBC. Will you be tuning in?
