Outdoor Stripping Allowed In Providence, But Owners Unenthusiastic

(Providence, RI)--Despite getting the go-ahead from the city, a group of Providence strip clubs might not be moving forward with plans to have strippers perform outside.A group of four clubs submitted re-opening plans to the Providence Board of Licenses after learning Phase 2 of Rhode Island's re-opening plan allowed live, outdoor entertainment at establishments, and the license board approved the plan last week.But several of the club owners told WPRI-TV they were having second thoughts.The owner of Club Fantasies told the news station when he opened on Thursday, only one dancer showed up; he said the others didn't want to come back to work under the conditions that the clubs must abide by.
