Rapper Tray Savage Shot and Killed at 26

Tray Savage, a rapper from Chief Keef's record label Glory Boyz Entertainment (GBE for short) was shot and killed on June 19th in Chicago after driving in the Chatham neighborhood, reportedly dropping off his girlfriend.

According to The Chicago Sun-Times, Tray was driving around 11am when he was shot. The rapper was hit in the neck and shoulder, and according police, hit three cars while he continued driving. He was then taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. He was 26.

The CST reports that Savage, real name Kentray Young, lived in the neighborhood where he was shot, and that witnesses recalled seeing a white SUV in the area during the time of the shooting. However, no one is currently in custody and a homicide investigation is now being conducted by detectives.

Part of Chief Keef's Glo Gang, Tray Savage teamed up with Keef in 2013 on their collab "Chiefin Keef." Other music videos of Tray's can be found on YouTube, and they include "Faces," "Know Who I Am" and "Got The Mac."

The rapper also released an album called Mhgs in 2019, which features 12 songs including another collaboration with Chief Keef called "Navy" that also features Terintino and Duwop.
