After 47 Years, Metrocenter Mall Will Permanently Close On June 30th

After 47 years, Metrocenter Mall will permanently close at the end of June, according to a letter from mall management.

According to the letter, the mall will close to shoppers at the end of business on Tuesday, June 30th. Businesses and vendors will have until July 15th to clear their stores and remove their property.

"Despite our best efforts to bring value back to the mall, complete maintenance projects, and increase foot traffic, the drop in our occupancy levels due to the COVID-19 pandemic can no longer sustain the operation of this large property," the letter states
