Brett Favre Says Kaepernick Will Be Recognized As A Hero Like Pat Tillman

In a new interview with TMZ Sports, Brett Favre says Colin Kaepernick will be remembered as a hero.

In socially distant interview, Favre told TMZ that he believes Kaepernick's 'kneeling' is similar to Tillman leaving the NFL to fight in the Army in the wake of 9/11.

"I can only think of right off the top of my head, Pat Tillman is another guy that did something similar," Favre said. "And, we regard him as a hero. So, I'd assume that hero status will be stamped with Kaepernick as well."
