Phoebe Bridgers filmed her own rendition of "Carpool Karaoke" for The Late Late Show With James Corden Tuesday night (June 23). The singer-songwriter drove around a parking lot in her car while singing her latest single "I See You," donned in the skeleton suit she wears in the cover art for her recently released sophomore album, Punisher.

The record, which some critics are calling one of the best of the year, came out last week and features guest spots from Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Nick Zinner, Bridgers' boygenius bandmates Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker, and her Better Oblivion Community Center collaborator and Bright Eyes frontman Conor Oberst.

While other artists decided to delay album releases do to the current state of the world, the 25-year-old actually released Punisher a day early.

"I’m not pushing the record until things go back to 'normal' because I don’t think they should. Here it is a little early," she declared in a tweet before giving her thoughts on police reform. "Abolish the police. Hope you like it."

Though she doesn't think things should go back to "normal," Bridgers recently lamented her quarantine brain during an interview with Q104.3.

"I feel like I'm so much more judgmental of people," she admitted. "I miss the way my brain used to work. Like now I just drive down the street and I'm judging every single person I drive by who's not wearing a mask or standing in a group of, like, 10. It just makes me so much more cynical. I miss my old brain."
