Kim & Kanye's Relationship Has Reportedly 'Broken Down Significantly'

Kim Kardashian is reportedly "furious" with her husband Kanye West after he revealed that they'd considered getting an abortion when the reality star found out she was pregnant with their first child, North, in 2013.

"Kim is shocked that Kanye spoke about North at the rally," an insider told People. "She is furious that he shared something so private."

The source added that Kim's main concern is how Ye's revelations about their private life may affect their four children —North, 7, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 1. "She loves her kids tremendously and wants to protect them," the insider said. "Her favorite thing in the world is being a mom."

A second source added that the couple's relationship is beginning to suffer due to Kanye's behavior. "Things have broken down significantly between the two of them, and it’s happened pretty suddenly," the insider told the outlet.

Kanye made his now controversial comments during his first campaign rally for his 2020 presidential bid over the weekend.

While standing in front of a crowd of people in South Carolina on Sunday (July 19), Ye broke down as he recalled finding out Kim was expecting North. "In the Bible, it says, 'Thou shall not kill,'" he began. "I remember that my girlfriend called me screaming and crying, and I was just thinking, because at that time I was a rapper I was out there, [had] different girlfriends and everything ... and she said, 'I'm pregnant.' And I said, 'Yes!' And then I said, ‘Uh oh.' "

The "Jesus Is Lord" rapper continued, "She was crying … and for one month and two months and three months, we talked about her not having this child. She had the pills in her hand." However, Kanye said he had a revelation from God that revealed they should go through with the pregnancy.

"I called my wife and she said, ‘We’re gonna have this baby,’ and I said ‘We’re gonna have this child,' " he recalled.

Towards the end of his anecdote, Kanye hinted that Kim wouldn't be pleased with him sharing the story as he told the audience: "Even if my wife wants to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into the world even when I didn’t want to. She stood up and she protected that child."
