Nene Leakes wants fans to know that Tamar Braxton is getting the help she needs amid her reported hospitalization.

On Saturday (July 18), the Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 52, took to Instagram to share an update on her friend, admitting that she's "been dealing with a lot of different issues." "I was trying to be her support system and she was being my support system,” Leakes said during the 17-minute post, adding, "Tamar is now getting the proper help that she needs. I am going to let her talk to you guys when she’s able to talk to you guys."

Prior to the Instagram Live, Leakes wrote about Braxton on the social media platform to emphasize the different ways that strong individuals deal with stress. "I have dealt with so much lately," she confessed, alluding to how the Black Lives Matter movement has helped her recently. "If I told you the way I was being treated, in a certain way, you would probably not believe it. Same with Tamar, you would probably not believe it."

Leakes went on to admit that the details of Braxton's situation will be revealed soon. "She has been hurting," she added. "We both believe in the Lord and sometimes you need a human, a friend who you can lean on and trust. Really trust because trust is hard."

As per reports, Braxton has been staying at the Ritz Carlton Residences in Downtown Los Angeles with her partner David Adefeso, 49, when he found her unconscious on Thursday. Rumors have spread that the singer/reality star had taken a number of unknown prescription pills. Afterward, a spokesperson told the Daily Mail, who broke the story, that more information about the star would be unveiled shortly. "Tamar has had a very tough and emotional day — more information will be coming in the next few days. Please pray for her," a rep said in a statement.
