After about a year and a half of marriage, Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, are doing better than ever.
“We’re pretty much newlyweds since we’ve only been married a year and a half, but we’ve already survived a pandemic so I think we’re golden," the country singer gushed in a recent interview.
"He loves to clean, and I knew that but it has really come in handy," Lambert revealed, explaining details of their life in quarantine amid the coronavirus pandemic. "The whole routine: make a meal, clean it up, make a meal, clean it up. We’ve had fun."
In May, Lambert and McLoughlin announced their plans to travel across the country in their new 2020 Airstream Globetrotter.
"Just because I can’t travel and play shows doesn’t mean I can’t travel and make music," she said at the time. Fans can stay up to date on Lambert's exciting adventures on the road with her husband on her Instagram page.
After the couple's first trip, Lambert turned to Instagram to share an update with fans. She revealed that they started in Nashville and drove to New York, making stops in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, Virginia, and Pennsylvania on the way.
"It was a nice change of pace. Something about the highway is calming, and at the same time keeps you completely focused," she shared, adding that she likes "to drive a lot because most of my adult life I’ve been driven around on a tour bus to play music."
"Something about the highway is calming, and at the same time keeps you completely focused," she continued. "B drives too and is the best navigator. We can set up camp in under 10 minutes once we pull in. Took a few times but we worked out the kinks."
Lambert plans to hit the road again with her husband soon for a trip out West to the California coast. Fans can stay up to date on the couple's road-trip adventures on her Instagram page.
