Jennifer Aniston is spreading positivity and empowerment in her latest Instagram post. The Emmy-nominated actress took part in the viral "women supporting women challenge" on Tuesday (July 28). The social media challenge aims to inspire women to celebrate themselves, as well as the women in their lives, by sharing black and white photos of themselves on Instagram.

"Thank you to all the brilliant and beautiful women in my life who sent the most uplifting messages today," Aniston captioned her black and white photograph. "Truth be told, I don’t really understand this #challengeaccepted thing…but who doesn't love good reason to support women!  Soooo…. challenge accepted!" ⠀

"And while I have you here, maybe the best way we can support other women is to REGISTER TO VOTE for the issues that affect women," she continued. "Encourage all your friends, girlfriends, sisters, moms, daughters to do the same. The election is right around the corner, and we need to look out for each other AND love each other!"

Aniston went on to tag a bunch of her famous girlfriends in her post to challenge them to participate, as well. She challenged Gal Gadot, Lily Collins, Jennifer Lopez, Aleen Keshishian, Nyakio Grieco, Mathilde Favier, Manon Matthews and Michelle Pfiefer to post their own black and white photos.

Aniston has a lot to celebrate today, as well. She received her first Emmy nomination for a dramatic role in Apple TV's The Morning Show. She's nominated alongside a number of other inspiring women, including Olivia Colman, Jodie Comer, Laura Linney, Sandra Oh and Zendaya.
