The Los Angeles Unified School District will offer voluntary one-on-one tutoring, both in-person and online “for students who need it most.” Superintendent Austin Beutner made the announcement, adding that online help will be offered through a nonprofit called Step Up Tutoring. The pilot program is set to serve 500 students starting later this month. If you're interested in volunteering to be a tutor, please visit: stepuptutoring.org

To seek tutoring from LAUSD, schools will post information on their websites. School starts August 18, 2020.
