In a recent interview with Fox News, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Myla Dalbesio discusses her photo shoot in Wyoming, dealing with body shaming and how it feels to be an inspiration to so many women around the world.

Memories from what feels like another lifetime. Hard to imagine embarking on a shoot like this now! Adventure, planes, and people. The biggest concern was how cold it would be for our sunrise shoot (40 degrees) and keeping the horses mellow. Things may never be the same again, but I’m so grateful to have had these magical moments with such majestic creatures and with a team of people I love so dearly. This first image is one of my favorites taken of me, ever. And it’s one of the reasons why I love working with the @si_swimsuit team. We put the look together towards the end of the fitting. We had already included a ton of jackets, but I saw this @carhartt one and grabbed it, threw it on over the bikini I was wearing. @mj_day crinkled up her nose. It was too bulky, it wasn’t super flattering, we already had so many jackets. I wasn’t deterred. “It’s the same jacket I have at home!” I said. “Out of all the pieces here, this one really feels like me.” It was all I had to say. The jacket went on the rack to shoot, and here it is. A photo that really captures me. A bikini and a carhartt 🙃 A little bit country and a little bit rock and roll. It’s special to work with a team that respects your opinion, and wants you to have the best experience you can, and to represent yourself in the way that you want to. I can’t say enough how grateful I am to be a part of this family for another year. Lucky number four 🍀 Thank you to the team that made this happen!
