LeBron James Gives Sneak Peek Of Jerseys In New 'Space Jam' Sequel

The Tune Squad is stepping on the basketball court with a new style this come around.
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James gave fans a sneak peek of the new jerseys he and his Tune Squad teammates will be wearing for the upcoming film, Space Jam: A New Legacy.
The Nike brand jerseys are vibrant with a 1990-era vibe, very similar to Michael Jordan and Buggs Bunny’s original jersey in the 1996 movie “Space Jam."

Space Jam: A New Legacy is expected to hit theaters on July 16, 2021. The film features NBA stars Klay Thompson, Damian Lillard, Anthony Davis and Chris Paul along with LeBron. It also features WNBA stars Diana Taurasi, Nneka Ogwumike and Chiney Ogwumike, according to ESPN.
James was directed by Malcom D. Lee, and the script was created by Sev Ohanian and Black Panther director Ryan Coogler.

“I’m gonna be honest completely with you guys — when I found out about the project, I was like it’s ‘Space Jam!' It’s a movie that I grew up watching,” James said in a leaked audio recording on the production's set, obtained by TMZ.
“Growing up in the inner city, as an African-American kid, there’s no way you’re supposed to f**ing make it out. And, the fact that I’m who I am as an African-American adult now with three kids of my own, and I made it out of the situations that I was in. This s**t is like extra credit for me man.”
