The Weird Homes Tour is a way to keep with the mantra "Keep Austin Weird" and explore the many fun, different, and weird features that make this city unlike any other. The tour gives audiences a glimpse into the weird and beautiful features of homes around Austin, showcasing collectors of oddities, performance artists, painters, rare art collectors, sculptors, and architects.
This year, the event will be held as a series of virtual tours, and invites visitors to browse over 100 homes. The featured Austin homes include those that reject the norms of traditional design and architecture and showcase the "wonderfully weird" and best of the community that makes the city truly unique.
The event is completely family-friendly and offers the ultimate instagram-worthy images that blow audiences away and are always sure to delight.
The Weird Home Tour is scheduled this year from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 5 and tickets can be purchased at WeirdHomesTour.com.
As a social impact company, the Weird Homes Tour donates a portion of its proceeds from ticket sales to local affordable housing nonprofits in each city that the Weird Homes Tour takes place.
