Zedd Tells the Story Behind His New Hit "Funny" with Jasmine Thompson

Zedd returned last month with his first new song of 2020 “Funny” with Jasmine Thompson and like a lot of songs he’s released, including “The Middle," the track actually first came to life with other artists before making its way to Zedd to give it his world class production touch.

And the track was a challenging one to produce.

“We worked on it for a good amount of time,” Zedd previously shared with Ryan Seacrest. “It was kind of challenging, to be completely honest, to get it perfect because the song has a double chorus and I didn’t want to reveal it for as long as I [could] so structurally it was kind of a challenging song for me to produce.”
