The Cleveland Browns have announced plans if fans are allowed in FirstEnergy Stadium this season, and season ticket holders were the first to know.

According to the team, face coverings would be required and everyone would have scheduled windows for entry and seating. There would be specific gates for the fans to use based on their individual seating location. In addition, there would be pre-game health screenings to ensure the health of visitors and employees.

All Browns tickets will be mobile for 2020 and the venue will be completely cashless to limit unnecessary contact. There have also been strict cleaning and disinfecting protocols for all game day areas set in place.

This safety plan has been presented to the City of Cleveland, the state of Ohio, the Ohio Department of Health, and the Cuyahoga County Board of Health.

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Dave Jenkins stated in a press release, "Given we are less than a month away from our first home game, we felt it was important for us to share these stadium operations elements with our fans now so they are informed and ready to adhere to all of the new policies and processes in place on game days, if we are ultimately approved to host fans."

The team is scheduled to host the Cincinnati Bengals on September 17th.
