Luke Combs Teases New Song 'Forever After All' Inspired By Wife Nicole

Luke Combs just shared a sample of a new love song called "Forever After All" with fans. The country star turned to social media to share a snippet of the track, which was inspired by his wife Nicole Hocking.

"1st came 'Beautiful Crazy,' then 'Better Together,' and now 'Forever After all," Combs wrote in the caption, referring to previously released songs that were also inspired by Hocking.

"They say nothing lasts forever / But they ain’t seen us together / Or the way the moonlight dances in your eyes / And I know there’ll be that moment / The good Lord calls one of us home and / One won’t have the other by their side / But heaven knows but that won’t last too long / Maybe some things last forever after all," Combs sings in the ballad.

Take a listen to the clip in the video below.

Combs and Hocking tied the knot on Saturday, August 1, after an 18-month engagement. The ceremony took place in front of their family at their southern Florida home. "Despite the threat of a hurricane, the couple had a lovely intimate ceremony and will be celebrating with friends and family in the new year," a rep for the couple shared at the time.

Following the big day, Combs turned to Instagram to share the news with fans. "Yesterday was the best day of my life," he wrote alongside a sweet photo of the couple. "I got to marry my best friend. I love you @nicohocking, here’s to forever."

Hocking also turned to Instagram to share the same photos which show the couple in their wedding attire at sunset.

"08.01.2020 ✨♥️ Yesterday was the most special day!! I’m so happy to spend the rest of my life with you!" she writes in the caption. "Although we wish would could have had every single one of our family & friends there, we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone next year! So excited to share more of this day soon. much love!"
