A toddler ended up going for a ride after getting a little too close to a large kite at the Hsinchu City International Kite Festival in Nanlioao, Taiwan. Dramatic video captured a group of men unfolding the tail of the large orange kite as they prepare to fly it. Once the wind takes hold of the kite, stunned bystanders watched in horror as a three-year-old girl went airborne after getting tangled in the kite's tail.

The girl was whipped around by the high winds, which were gusting around 40 mph, as the handlers tried to bring the kite back to the ground. After about 30 seconds, the wind subsided, and the girl was pulled out of the sky. She suffered minor injuries, including bruising to her neck and face and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Officials decided to cancel the rest of the events scheduled for the day and promised to thoroughly investigate the incident.
