Portland Trail Blazers v Los Angeles Lakers - Game Five

LeBron James who is normally does not take the bait on social media, finally gave in and responded on Twitter.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar had time on Thursday, responding to a jab from former ESPN’s Jay Williams, who said James was once a Scottie Pippen to Dwyane Wade. Yet James was called that by Williams on Twitter and he had to respond. Williams quote-tweeted former NBA player Richard Jefferson’s tweet that said Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo might be a Pippen, and needs more of a take-charge star, like Michael Jordan, to get over the hump. In his own tweet, Williams wrote, “So LeBron was a Pippen with D Wade once. Nothing wrong with that until you get over the hump.” LeBron then responded shortly afterward:

Explain to me what the fux I gotta do with this subject matter! I'm over here minding my damn business preparing for Houston. And by the way I ain't never been nobody but my damn self! hit!
