Sam Asghari Responds After Fan Makes 'Scary' Britney Spears Comment

Britney Spears’ boyfriend, Sam Asghari, will always defend his girl.

The fitness trainer had the best response after coming across a not-so-nice remark a fan made about his girlfriend. Per a screenshot of the exchange, Asghari clapped back at Canadian author and screenwriter Kelly Oxford, who responded to a recent video the pop star shared with, “This account finally got too scary for me.”

Taking notice of Oxford’s comment, the 26-year-old fired back in Spears’ defense. “What's so scary about being the biggest superstar in the world being herself (authentic, funny, humble) without caring what others think,” Asghari wrote. “We need more people like her and less Karen's. also instagram installed this button that you can hit to unfollow about 10 years ago..."

Despite the seemingly unkind remark, it should be noted that Oxford is a fan of the “Toxic” singer, and has made this evident in the past. In July, she asserted her apparent support for the #FreeBritney movement and also directed her Twitter followers’ attention to the superstar’s ongoing conservatorship battle.

🤣🤣🤣 . . #SamAsghari #BritneySpears #farandula #chisme #lachismeriamx #trendy #news #noticias #espectaculos #novedades #media #actualidad #tendencias #show #gossip #gossipers #gossiptime #trend #trendy #tendencia #musica #gay #instagay #pop #music #cantante #FreeBritney #britney #queen

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Spears officially backed the fan-led campaign. As per court documents, it’s stated the 38-year-old “welcomes and appreciates the informed support of her many fans,” who brought the movement to light in the media.

As fans know, Britney has been striving against having her father, Jamie Spears, reinstated as her conservator and has requested a “qualified corporate fiduciary” in his place. Jamie, her conservator since 2008, temporarily stepped down from the role in September 2019 and was replaced by her temporary conservator, Jodi Montgomery. The move was supposedly made as a result of Jamie’s health concerns, however, it was a suspicious move considering he’d been accused of physically abusing the singer’s son, Sean Preston, 14, at the time.

Now, Britney is challenging her father’s motion to keep the case sealed to the public. “Britney herself is vehemently opposed to this effort by her father to keep her legal struggle hidden away in the closet as a family secret,” her lawyer stated in new court docs, per TMZ, arguing there are no medical or sensitive issues related to her children — Sean and Jayden, 13 — that should be kept secret.
