A man is in custody after leading authorities on a high speed chase Monday evening through South Florida waters, according to NBC Miami.

Officers with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conversation Commission said a marine patrol unit stopped a man on a jet ski around 8 p.m. on Labor Day near the Haulover sandbar. The man then fled from authorities, officials added.

A video from @CarlaRavazza captured a scene from the chase in Sunny Isle Beach, Local 10.com reported. In the video, the lone man on the jet ski zipped across waters while three boats were chasing him. Two of the three boats blared sirens and flashed police lights.

Local 10.com added that the chase went from Broward to Miami-Dade Counties.

FWC said they worked with the Hallandale Beach Police Department and the U.S. Marshal Service to capture the man. The man was wanted by U.S. Marshals, according to NBC Miami.

Authorities have not released any public information on the man's identity nor any potential charges.

This isn't the only police chase to happen on Florida waters this summer. The Citrus County Chronicle reported a jet ski chase between a man and a FWC officer in early June.
