A child battling cancer got her wish fulfilled at a Miami zoo last Friday (September 4), CBS 12 reported.

Eight-year-old Jadyn Blanco has a brain tumor, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation fulfilled her request to spend time at Zoo Miami.

Ron Magill, wildlife expert and a longtime zoologist at the location, said this is the first time they've opened the zoo for just one person.

"It doesn't matter the size of the house you live in, the car you drive, or how much you have in your bank account, but that you make a difference in the life of a child," he said.

Magill gave Jadyn and her guests a VIP tour, allowing her to get close and personal with the animals. She fed giraffes, laid down with snakes and much more.

CBS12 also reported that Jadyn is a big fan of Magill, watching his show Zoocademy while she was undergoing radiation treatment.

The young girl said her favorite part of the day was "all of it."

"She has loved animals since she was really little. And, it's just been a dream come true," Jenny Blanco, Jadyn's aunt, said. "She never really expected the whole zoo to be opened just for her. Even when she was scared, she still was brave enough go through and still have a smile on her face."
