David Guetta and Sia are returning to the dance floor on their new song.
The hit-making DJ and the “Chandelier” songbird prove once again they are a match made in music heaven with the release of their new collaboration “Let’s Love.” A catchy, carefree, and uplifting groove, Sia and Guetta’s latest effort makes a spirited feel-good tribute to the ‘80s and with lyrics sure to get anyone through the toughest of times, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, specifically.
“So take my hand, don't be afraid/ This too shall pass, this too shall pass/ And we'll get through it all together/ We'll get through it all together,” Sia sings with confidence, leading to the chorus’ unifying “let’s love” incantations.
“During this time of isolation, I’ve been incredibly inspired to release music that has an uplifting energy,” Guetta explained to Billboard of the record earlier this month. “I love producing club tracks but at the same time, especially now, I feel like creating ‘feel-good’ music. ‘Let’s Love’ is a message of love, hope, and bringing people together and once again, Sia has outdone herself on the vocals.”
The longtime collaborations have a history of breaking it big as a duo, having linked up on several hits over the years. Among their most-accomplished team-ups include "Titanium," "She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)," "Helium," "Flames," "The Whisperer," "Wild One Two," "Bang My Head" and "Light Headed."
