The owner of a gun store in Richardson, Texas, was able to stop one of four robbers because of his acting skills.

The group of masked men entered Mike's Gun Room on Thursday after and after pretending to shop for a few minutes, they pointed their guns at 77-year-old owner Mike Brown. Brown told Fox 4 that the robbers made him lay on the floor behind the counter and they pointed a gun at his head while the took about 50 guns.

Brown started to fake having a heart attack and said he needed to get his heart pills. He was really moving towards his gun. All but one of the robbers made it out of the store before Brown was able to get his gun.

The store owner was able to shoot the remaining robber in the shoulder while his companions drove off.

“I’m sorry I had to shoot somebody, but — better than Plan B,” Brown said.

The robber was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive, WFAA reported.

Authorities are still looking for his friends though. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives' Dallas division is assisting with the investigation, and the agency worries that the stolen guns may end up the hands of violent criminals.

As for Brown, he had a warning to the three others who got away: "Don’t come back. I’ve got more ammo.”
