Video Catches Street Fight Between Miami Police Officer And Suspect

What started as a traffic stop turned into a brawl on the streets. Witnesses captured a street fight between a suspect and a Miami police officer on video Wednesday afternoon (September 23), according to Local 10.

"That guy just pushed the cop off the bike," one of the people recording the video said.

The video begins with the suspect pushing over a motorbike, and he and the officer start exchanging blows. The officer even grapples the man to the ground at one point.

It also appears the officer was pulling on the man's hair in an attempt to subdue him.

After the man frees himself from the officer's grasp, he attempts to run. The officer pulls out a taser and shoots the man.

"That didn’t stop the man, who ran towards a stopped car and, according to police, was pulling the handle, trying to get inside," Local 10 reported.

Miami police said the officer was trying to take the suspect into custody, who was riding a motorcycle.

Officers said the man was eventually taken into the custody. The officer involved in the fight suffered an injury to his hand.
