Machine Gun Kelly released his pop punk album, Tickets to My Downfall, on Friday (September 25), and it includes a long-awaited collaboration with Halsey called "Forget Me Too."

During a recent interview (via AltPress), MGK gushed about how easy it was to work with his close friend. “It took her five minutes to write that verse, I could tell you that much,” he said. “She was in it. That was the quickest feature session I’ve ever had in my life.”

It didn't take long for the pop singer to record her part either, as producer Travis Barker recalled. “She was in the booth maybe 10 minutes. I think we knew. And then we were working on this up-tempo song and I was like, ‘Yo, this is the song we should put Halsey on.’ Or whatever. And I think you sent it to her that night," he said, addressing the rapper-turned-rocker. "The next day she came in, was in the booth 10, 15 minutes tops and the song was finished.”

MGK and Barker plan to perform the album in its entirety during a special livestream from Los Angeles' iconic venue The Roxy on October 1. Get more info about the show here.
