A Virginia man is facing 27 charges after he did doughnuts in the middle of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Videos showed the black Nissan burning out and leaving skid marks on the westbound span of the bridge as a cloud of smoke covered the roadway.

Authorities used videos of the wild stunt to track down the driver, identified as 22-year-old Gary Ray Montague Jr., and charged him with three counts of disturbing the peace and one count of disorderly conduct. He was also charged with 23 traffic violations, including reckless driving, willfully damaging a highway, and driving a motor vehicle in a manner intended to cause skidding.

The Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office thanked members of the public who submitted tips and videos that helped authorities identify Montague.

"The Sheriff's Office would like to thank everyone who provided pictures and video footage, from this past Sunday's reckless driving behavior on the Bay Bridge, that helped to find and charge this suspect."

This is not the first time that Montague has been in trouble for his actions behind the wheel. In August, Montague was convicted of driving while intoxicated and was required to install an ignition lock in his vehicle. In July, he was charged with reckless driving.
