Endangered Child Alert: Missing Middle TN Girl Could Be Heading To Memphis

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a statewide "endangered child alert" for a girl missing from Middle Tennessee who could be traveling to West Tennessee.
Destiny Elaine Hale, 14, was reported missing out of Smith County by the Smith County, Tennessee on Wednesday, according to the TBI. Destiny was last seen at her residence at approximately 4:00 p.m. CDT prior to her disappearance.
She is described as a White female who is 5'2," 120 lbs and has brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair. The TBI said it is unknown what Destiny was wearing at the time of her disappearance, but she is believed to be carrying a pink backpack and a pink blanket.

Destiny also has scars on her lower forearm. The TBI reports Destiny may be traveling to the Memphis area. She has been entered as a missing child into the National Crime Information Center as case number: M295992210.
There are currently 17 unsolved cases of missing children in Tennessee dating back to 2004, according to TBI.
