'Bachelorette' Producers Planned To Replace Clare Crawley All Along

Every year, Chris Harrison promises Bachelor Nation is in for the most dramatic seasons of The Bachelor and Bachelorette yet. As Clare Crawley's turn asThe Bachelorette inches closer to airing, the longtime host isn't just promising the typical suitor drama this time around—he's teasing the "most explosive" season in the franchise's history. With all the rumors swirling that Crawley quit her season just two weeks into filming, it's easy to believe that Harrison's promises could prove to be true. There's just one hitch, though. Trusted Bachelor Nation spoiler source Reality Steve is now claiming producers planned for Crawley's early exit all along.

According to a new post on Reality Steve's blog, Bachelorette producers plotted for Crawley to depart the show mid-season and even went so far as to plant the idea in her mind during the pre-production. "This was in productions plan before Clare’s season started," Reality Steve alleges. "They knew Clare would be removed at some point during this season and replaced as the Bachelorette by Tayshia [Adams]. Did Clare know? No. Did the guys know? No. But production sure as hell did."

Based on conversations with Crawley ahead of her season, producers believed she would fall for Dale Moss early on. After those initial talks, producers reportedly knew this "was gonna be their 'twist' from this season." Here's the full run-down from Reality Steve:

"Production 'knew' Clare and Dale were gonna end up being a thing based on pre-show conversations, knowing that this season might be boring because of the one location shoot, they decide to have Tayshia 'ready' to go once Clare and Dale went down. In reality, they knew what was happening the whole time. It wasn’t even Clare’s decision to end the show with Dale. It was productions. They were the ones that went to HER bringing up the scenario of basically, 'what do you think of ending this now with Dale.' They both agreed and, whaddya’ know, they already have Tayshia there on standby."

Not only did Reality Steve dish on Crawley's portion of the upcoming season, he also shared some juicy tidbits from her Adams' portion, as well. He claims to be "almost positive" he knows who Adams' final four suitors are, as well as revealing the finale is going to be completely "drama-filled." Here's what he said about Adam's half of the season:

"I’ve heard about Tayshia’s season is that it was, well, messy. I do not think we had a normal ending with Tayshia’s season. That doesn’t necessarily mean she didn’t pick someone, or that she did and changed her mind, etc. It just means that I don’t think we’re gonna get a traditional ending of, she was down to two men, chose one over the other, and they’re a happy couple right now. It’s possible it’s still up in the air. Maybe that’s why I haven’t heard. Or maybe she did pick someone, they’re happy, and I just don’t know about it yet. I’ve just been told repeatedly the ending of her season was “messy” and full of drama."

Season 16 of The Bachelorette will premiere Tuesday, October 13, at 8 p.m. ET.. Will you be tuning in?
