Bishop Briggs has been gifting us with some great throwback content this year, and her latest installment definitely does not disappoint. Over the weekend, the singer-songwriter shared footage from a video diary called "Daily Update Sarah's Life" where a young Briggs, dressed all in white, gives her best Britney Spears impression by lip syncing "Oops!...I Did It Again," and it's so delightfully spot-on for anyone who grew up during the early aughts.

"It’s the confidence for me" Briggs captioned the Instagram post. Check it out below.

Briggs also recently detailed the origins of her latest single "Higher" in an Instagram post.

"photo dump of how higher was made 🇬🇧 big thanks to @jonnycoffer & @iamjoellittle who produced this track and @johnnewmanmusic who wrote it with me!!" she captioned a series of photos. "'Higher' was written in the darkest time of my heartache. I wanted to be the person who had learnt all of their lessons and was ready to move on but I wasn’t there yet, not even close. I started imagining myself racing down the street high-fiving whoever I could spreading joy so much that I became joy. I then imagined myself feeling a lightness in my thoughts where I could negate even intrusive thoughts just by telling them to leave me be. I imagined this person because I desperately wanted to be this person."

"I hope you feel a relief when you listen to 'Higher' because just by listening to it you are manifesting a new existence in which you are the joy," she concluded her message. See that post below.
