The Holiday Shopping Season Is Starting Even Earlier

Stores have been starting the holiday shopping season earlier every year. For many retailers, the season has already started.

Black Friday won’t be what it used to be because of COVID. Retailers want to avoid the huge crowds we’re used to on the day after Thanksgiving, and into December. Even Amazon is gearing up early for the shopping season. They’ve spent lots of time and money building warehouses, and delivery networks, and hiring 175,000 people to run them.
