Austin City Limits Music Festival released its lineup for its first all-virtual festival.
Instead of having live performances from headliners, ACL Fest will broadcast sets from years past on its YouTube page for free on October 9 - 11. The broadcasts are scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m. CT and end at 11 p.m. or 11:30 p.m. CT.
Billie Elish's 2019 set will cap off the Friday night performances, Queens of the Stone Age's 2013 set on Saturday, and Phish's 2010 set on Sunday. Other notable broadcasts that will be shown are Willie Nelson from 2016, Gary Clark Jr. from 2019, and Radiohead from 2016.
The weekend will also include new performances from Austin bands and artists, like Melat and Black Pumas.
Matthew McConaughey, Andy Roddick, and others will be making guest appearances during the show. The virtual show will also include barbecue tips from the people behind Leroy & Lewis, Valentina’s Tex-Mex and SLAB BBQ, according to Austin 360.
C3, the organization that puts on ACL Fest, announced last month that the festival would be virtual because of COVID-19. Organizers are planning for ACL to return to Austin's ZIlker Park in 2021.
