A man is facing an attempted murder charge after allegedly shooting at a female stripper who refused to have sex with him in Miami Beach, NBC Miami reported Thursday (October 8). A police report said two female dancers at a South Florida cabaret made an arrangement with two men Wednesday (October 7) for a private strip show after their shifts.

The dancers drove that morning to Grand Hotel Miami Beach, where they agreed to strip for the two men for a total of $1,000. Authorities said one of the men, Tremain Christopher Weekes, a 23-year-old Brooklyn resident, expected to have sex with the women after they began dancing.

One of the dancers told she spotted a firearm in the hotel room, making her uncomfortable. When she denied Weekes sex, she said he appeared bothered by the refusal. The women left the hotel and got in their respective cars to drive away, but Weekes followed the dancers back to the valet. The 23-year-old man began to chase one of the dancers, shooting at her car several times down Collins Avenue.

"The woman kept driving until she reached the area of 74th and Gary Avenue, where she proceeded to call police. She suffered some lacerations to her arm due to shattered glass, officials said, but was otherwise unharmed by the gunshots," NBC Miami reported.
