Rita Wilson Shares Emotional Story Behind Single 'Everybody Cries'

Rita Wilson has lent her voice to emotional new track “Everybody Cries” from war drama The Outpost. The Outpost, directed by Rod Lurie, based on a 2012 non-fiction book, The Outpost: An Untold Story of American Valor by Jake Tapper, recounts the Battle of Kamdesh in the war in Afghanistan.

“It felt like it was a bit of my own service to be able to participate in this song and honor the lives lost,” Rita shared with Sisanieof how she relates to the emotional track, which is generating Grammy buzz along with the film’s Oscar-worthy mentions.
