The Arizona State Fair was canceled due to the global coronavirus pandemic. However, fair fans can still see some concerts at the fairgrounds from the comfort of their own vehicles.
CBF Productions is offering a series of "Concerts in You Car" this fall at the fairgrounds, featuring some big acts such as The Beach Boys.
AZ Family reports that the concert will be like "a live concert meets a drive-in movie." The shows will be socially distanced in the fairgrounds parking lot as the acts perform an outdoor, in-the-round stage.
Here is a lineup of the concerts so far:
- Friday, Oct. 16 - Tower of Power ( 8 p.m.)
- Saturday, Oct. 17 - Third Eye Blind (8:30 p.m.)
- Friday, Oct. 23 - Sublime with Rome (8:30 p.m.)
- Sunday, Oct. 25 - The Beach Boys (8 p.m.)
- Friday, Oct. 31 - Aaron Lewis and Sully Erna (8:30 p.m.)
- Friday, Nov. 13 - 311 (5:30 & 8:30 p.m.)
More dates should be added.
There will also be a series of "Movies in Your Car" with the same drive-in setup.
