The Grand Ole Opry plans to bring back Friday night performances with an expanded show beginning next month.

The venue announced it will begin running two-hour performances on November 6 as it celebrates its 95th anniversary this month, FOX 17 News reports. Last month, Metro Nashville mayor John Cooper announced the city's transition into Phase 3 of reopening on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, which he said was approved to host 500 attendees for its 95th Anniversary show on October 3, FOX 17 News reports.

The Opry said it will host fans during Friday night performances in compliance with the Metro Public Health Department, which allows venues to hold events with a 30% capacity or 500 people with required city approval. Opry representatives also confirmed that the venue will be conducting enhanced cleaning practices, social distanced seating and require all fans in attendance and staff members to wear facial coverings, FOX 17 News reports.

The Opry will be holding a live performance in October which will feature performances by Opry members Clint Black, Little Big Town, Bill Anderson, Chris Janson and Steve Wariner, as well as special guests Lauren Alaina, Brandy Clark and Victoria Shaw.

The Grand Ole Opry paused live audience performances amid the beginning of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic on March 14. Saturday's broadcast will mark the 29th consecutive weekend without an audience for its weekly television program.
